The Doomsday Clock is ticking, with Mount Humongous threatening to erupt and destroy Bikini Bottom! Plankton and Krabs are scheming, everyone is panicking, neighbors are turning on each other ... can SpongeBob, Sandy, and Patrick save the town?

March 11th - 14th, Lincoln School (6 Ballfield Rd.) will present The SpongeBob Musical, Youth Edition. More than 70 students from grades 5 through 8 make up the cast and stage crew. They are supported by the creativity of dozens of adult volunteers working behind the scenes. A whole community working together ... Can Bikini Bottom learn to do the same? Come see the show to find out! Running time on this family-friendly show is 60-70 minutes.

The show is based on the television series by Stephen Hillenburg, with a book by Kyle Jarrow. It contains original songs by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants, T.I. and Songs by David Bowie, Tom Kenny & Andy Paley. Additional lyrics by Jonathan Coulton, additional music by Tom Kitt Musical Production. The show was originally conceived by Tina Landau. With zany characters, some thoughtful messages, plenty of humor, and SpongeBob's infectious positivity, the show is sure to leave everyone smiling.

Tickets are general admission and available at the door from 30 minutes before showtime: adults $10, students/seniors, LPS Employees $5. Cash or check only.
