Zen Zone-- Volunteer and Donations Needed
1/4/2026 11:19 pm
The LSPO is excited to once again offer Zen Zone—a welcoming, stress-free space where our students can relax, recharge, and feel supported during the upcoming assessment period.
Zen Zone gives students a much-needed break to play games, work on quiet puzzles, enjoy snacks, connect with friends, and even unwind with certified therapy animals. For many students, this time to decompress makes a real difference in their confidence, focus, and overall well-being.
We can’t do this without our community. It truly takes a village to bring Zen Zone to life, and we invite you to support our students by volunteering your time and/or donating snacks.

Due to increased costs for therapy animals this year, additional monetary support will help us continue offering this meaningful experience to students.
Please note: all volunteers must have a valid CORI on file with LS (valid for three years). If you are unsure of your CORI status, please contact the LS Business Office at 978-443-9961 x2382 or email alicia_palmer@lsrhs.net.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Zen Zone Chairs—Jeff Goodsill, Crystal Pike, and Lara McLeod—at zenzone@lspo.org.
Thank you for helping us create a calm, caring space where our students can truly recharge when they need it most.
Warmly,
LSPO Zen Zone Team
