Help Area Families Experiencing Homelessness

Looking for a meaningful way to contribute locally this holiday season? The Drive, which local mom Kim Jalet has been organizing for 12 years, grew out of local parenting groups and supports Heading Home, a Boston-based organization dedicated to ending homelessness. For families in emergency shelter, gift cards offer autonomy by letting them buy that special toy their child has been asking for, choose favorite holiday foods, or use it for essentials like diapers and warm clothing.

You may also purchase children's books for Heading Home through wish lists at Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1A9761V5119YT?ref_=wl_share) or Porter Square Books (PSB) (https://portersquarebooks.com/wishlist/uipichishunam) by November 30th. At PSB, you can use the code HEADINGHOME24 for a 10% discount. Amazon books will ship directly to Kim, and she will pick up books from PSB. If you choose to buy from another vendor, please ship them to Kim (email her for address). She will deliver all books to Heading Home.

The Lincoln-Sudbury Parent Organization is a non-profit organization made up of the parents and guardians of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School students. The LSPO is dedicated to facilitating engagement and communication between families and the school, as well as partnering with faculty and administration to support underfunded staff needs, student activities and efforts that encourage school spirit.
