Sunday, Oct. 19, 3 p.m. “Tales from the Rail Trail,” Sudbury Goodnow LibraryCommunity Meeting Room. A slide presentation about the BFRT in Sudbury by Len Simon.
Saturday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A Free Adaptive Cycling Program for People of All Abilities. Broadacres Farm Parking Lot (62 Morse Road), Sudbury. Phone registration: 413-584-2052, or Online registration
Wednesday, Oct. 29, 3 to 4 p.m. “Trek and Treat” Halloween Bike Ride. From West Concord Bike Share (behind 40 Beharell St, Concord) to East Acton Village Green (29 Concord Rd, Acton, 1.9 miles on the BFRT) from 3:00-3:45pm. 4:00pm Costume contest winners announced on East Acton Village Green. Prizes for best costume and bike decoration. Sponsored by Community Bike Share.
Monday, Nov. 10, 7 p.m. Friends’ Community Information session: a discussion of the design of the northern section of the BFRT in Framingham. Costin Room of Framingham's Main Library, 49 Lexington St, Framingham.
Sunday, Nov. 23, 2 p.m. Friends’ Annual Meeting Pedal Power Bike and Ski, 176 Great Road, Acton.
