Dear Parents and Guardians
At the last LSPO meeting a decision has been made not to renew our L-S Parent Network blog (if you did not have students at LS 3+ years ago, you might not even know what it is) when it is up for renewal in July 2015. We are replacing it with a Facebook Group, open to all parents and guardians of LS students; the group can be used with the same intent (parents sharing information) but without the associated cost ($258 per year). As we are all new to this, the group might undergo several improvements and edits to ensure smooth operation, but the start has been made. We have chosen to have this group "Closed" so that only LS families have access to the information shared. To have a look at it and/or join, please go to:https://www.facebook.com/groups/580358752066791/
We'd love to have you all joining it!

HOPEsudbury is collecting baby items for Natick-based Family Promise MetroWest. The agency provides temporary shelter to homeless families.
Collection bins will be out May 15th – May 29th and will be located at:
Goodnow Library ~ The Performing Arts Connection ~ Longfellow's Children's Center ~ Flynn Building ~ Sunny Hill Pre-School
One of the greatest needs for families traveling from shelter to shelter is for baby items. We are collecting:
• Baby Formula
• Baby Clothing (Newborn Up To 4T),
• Diapers Size 3 And 6
• Pull Ups Size 4T-5T
• Baby Wipes
• Baby Body Wash
Host congregations and volunteers furnish safe, temporary shelter and meals on a rotating basis while professional staff assists families in reaching goals that end the cycle of homelessness. Congregations convert their classrooms into bedrooms for one week, 3-4 times per year. Each week the families move to different host congregations, which are located in various towns in the MetroWest area including Sudbury.
HOPEsudbury is a grassroots, all volunteer, non-profit organization designed to engage Sudbury citizens from all walks of life in efforts to provide humanitarian aid to people in need. For more information on HOPEsudbury, go to www.hopesudbury.org.
Due to the recent events affecting the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School community, we are sorry to inform you that we need to cancel this week's performance of Regarding Electra. We thank you so much for your support of our program and hope you will continue to join us in our future productions. Thank you for your understanding.
